OFFENDING PREVENTION AND REHABILITATION
OACAS is able to provide a dedicated programme for persons who have offended or are on periphery of offending through alcohol and drug related behaviour.
The primary aim of the programme is to reduce the risk of potential or further offending behaviour and conflict through a successful process which the local justice services can utilise.
Although alcohol and drugs are a common factor in offending patterns the programme can be adapted for instances where neither of these two elements are relevant to the circumstances.
Our rehabilitation worker is also a trained mentor available to assist returning prisoners using the Wise Group's 'New Routes' programme.
